Aromas of dried roses, garrigue herbs and red fruit with terrific purity and freshness. Lithe raspberries on the bright, even and crisp palate. Fabulous, fresh acidity, depth, length and power here. A kick of bitter herbs on the finish. Classic. Drink or hold. - James Suckling
Tasted from bottle, Bravays's 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape is filled with notions of framboise, ripe strawberries, spice and dried flowers. It's not the biggest, baddest wine he's ever made, but it has beautiful purity and elegance, as well as medium to full-bodied richness, sweet tannin, and a great finish. It's well worth your time and money, and I'd be thrilled to drink bottles over the coming decade or more. - Jeb Dunnuck
Although Ferrand's 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape isn't that expressive on the nose, this full-bodied wine offers a richly textured mouthfeel, plenty of dark, plummy fruit and a long, velvety finish. There's a touch of warmth to this, so drink it over the next 5-8 years. - Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate
(raised in concrete tanks) Brilliant ruby. Powerful, mineral-accented aromas of ripe red berries, cherry pit, potpourri and musky rhubarb, backed by a hint of Asian spices. Sweet, concentrated and seamless in texture, offering intense raspberry, cherry and lavender pastille flavors and a touch of licorice. Impressively suave and focused; a powerful jolt of candied flowers carries through the long, palate-staining finish. Josh Raynolds – Vinous Media
