Beautiful stone fruits, tart pineapple, and subtle spicy, brioche nuances, as well hints of honeysuckle, all define the 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc, a pure, vibrant, medium-bodied white from this family that does everything right. The 2022 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc was being bottled on the day I visited last summer, so my note is based on a sample pulled from the bottling tank. Aged in 40% new French oak, it's toasty and leesy, a plush, opulent style that faithfully reflects the vintage. It's full-bodied and loaded with pineapple fruit, which may be a bit much for some tasters, but it finishes soft, pure and harmonious, a lovely effort.-Joe Czerwinski, The Wine Advocate
