The 2017 Meursault À Mon Plaisir Clos du Haut Tesson is showing brilliantly, revealing a lovely bouquet of green pears, mandarin oil, pastry cream, white flowers and blanched almonds. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with excellent depth and concentration, structured around chalky dry extract and a bright girdle of acidity, concluding with a long, saline finish. This is an exceptional Tesson that might evolve into a modern-day version of Roulot's 1992. William Kelley – The Wine Advocate
Fine pale lemon with green tints, an intense yet still discreet nose, this starts well but it is the intensity across the palate and the dramatic tension of the finish which particularly impresses. Very long indeed, and much as I dislike reinforcing the cult nature of certain wines this really is worth its superstar status. Tasted: October 2018. Jasper Morris
Tasting note: A discreet but not invisible application of wood frames the essence of pear liqueur, spice, acacia blossom and grilled nut-scented nose. Once again there is excellent focus and punch to the slightly bigger medium-bodied flavors that possess a sleek and polished mouth feel, all wrapped in a strikingly long finish that is clearly built-to-age. In a word, wonderful. Sweet Spot – Outstanding – Allen Meadows - Burghound
