The 2019 Pinot Noir Jerusalem Hill Vineyard is particularly fragrant and expressive this vintage. It has a medium ruby color and is loaded with complex notes of aniseed, amaro and juniper that complement a core of pomegranate and rhubarb. The medium-bodied palate is refreshing and spicy, with layer after layer of concentrated fruit, a seamless texture and very long finish streaked with lavender.-Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate

A much richer, meatier, and more complex Pinot Noir from Domaine Serene, the 2019 Jerusalem Hill gifts notes of brambly fruit, boysenberry, red licorice, allspice, and just a smooch of barbequed meat, alongside the glimmering dark ruby core with a burnt orange colored rim. On the palate, the wine matches the nose but also presents a lovely white pepper and cedary herb component to the mid-palate. It finishes strong with perfect levels of acidity, crunchy sweet tannins, and a medium to full body. Better in 2024. Highly recommended.--J. Young, International Wine Report

A ripe and deep pinot with aromas of licorice, dried lavender, mulberries, blueberries and anise. Sleek and spicy, with an almost brooding quality, and tight-grained tannins. Lovely blue fruit coming through, too. Nicely firm at the end. Drink or hold.-James Suckling
