Eugenie Vosne Romanee Village 2021 (750ML)

This cuvée is made up of grapes from Vigneux, a declassified plot of Aux Brûlées and the young vines of the Grands Crus. One quarter whole bunch vinification. Mid red purple colour, medium density. The fruit is attractive, light strawberry, on the softer side, mildly subdued today but with good length to follow through. This wine had been racked while the rest were still in barrel, unracked. Tasting note: A moderately toasty nose speaks of very fresh and cool aromas of highly spiced red and dark berries. There is excellent definition to the attractively textured middleweight flavors that are shaped by firm tannins and bright acidity on the balanced and impressively persistent finale.
