The 2022 Faugeres is composed of 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep garnet-purple in color, it is a touch closed and broody to start, soon revealing glimpses of baked plums, boysenberries, and tar notes with wafts of wild sage and damp soil.
