With its combination of silky fruit and power, this wine should evolve gracefully in bottle. The 2015 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Clos Sorbé has a more introspective bouquet compared to the other premier crus, dark berry fruit mixed with very distant hints of seaweed and oyster shell. The palate is very silky in texture. This feels very harmonious and focused, the acidity beautifully judged with black cherries and a hint of cassis towards the elegant finish.
