From the upper part of Les Voillenots. Pale lemon and lime. There is a reserved steeliness to the nose. This has a racy white fruit quality with some fresh plum notes as well. Fruit, body and acidity all in balance, and fine persistence. Tasted: November 2021.—Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy

Tasting note: A discreet if perceptible application of wood sets off the white and yellow orchard fruit aromas that are laced with hints of resin and rosemary oil. There is excellent volume to the seductively textured and caressing medium-bodied flavors that culminate in a clean, agreeably dry and solidly lengthy finish that exhibits notably better depth.
