The NV Brut Tradition, based on 2013 in this release, is absolutely delicious, not to mention a terrific introduction to the range and a great value. The natural richness and breadth of Aÿ come through loud and clear. Pear, spice and floral notes build effortlessly as this creamy, super-inviting Champagne shows off its alluring personality. The Tradition is a real overachiever in its price range. Disgorged: February, 2019. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
Disgorged in May 2019, the latest release of Chiquet's supremely dependable NV Brut Premier Cru Tradition reveals an inviting bouquet of crisp yellow orchard fruit, fresh peach, honeycomb, Meyer lemon and warm biscuits. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and charming, with a youthfully frothy but refined mousse, a succulent core of fruit and ripe but racy balancing acids. It's already drinking well. - William Kelley, Wine Advocate
Vibrant and balanced, with flavors of nectarine, candied orange peel, slivered almond and oyster shell set on a lacy texture. Fragrant hints of white blossoms and lemon thyme show on the finish. Disgorged January 2022. Drink now. 1,850 cases imported. - Alison Napjus, Wine Spectator
A bright yellow/straw color, the NV Champagne 1er Cru Tradition Brut is very appealing on the nose and is made from 40% Meunier and equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with 80% from the 2019 harvest and the rest from 2018 and 2017. It opens to notes of fresh berries, sweet citrus, fresh flowers, and peaches. Medium-bodied, it fills the palate with a juicy feel and a fluffy, pillowing mousse, with a clean finish. Easygoing and quaffable, it would be suitable as a lovely aperitif or to close a meal. Drink it over the next several years. 4 grams per liter dosage.-Audrey Frick, JebDunnuck
