Three lieux-dits including La Croix Blanche (Vosne) and Les Maladières (Chambolle). Already blended in barrel and will be moved to tank before bottling 10 December.
Plenty of ripe dark red fruit here. Chewy tannins and fresh on the finish but with real depth of fruit. More flesh than many wines in this vintage at this level. (JH) Jancis Robinson.com
The 2017 Bourgogne Rouge comes from three parcels in Vosne-Romanée and Chambolle-Musigny and incorporates no whole cluster fruit. It has a pleasant bouquet of red fruit infused with attractive rose petal scents. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannin, crisp and crunchy red fruit and a light marine note on the finish. Enjoy over the next couple of years. Neal Martin – Vinous Media
