The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes 1er Cru is one of Pascale Mugneret's gems, and this is no different. Very pure and sensual on the nose, it blossoms from the glass with animated red fruit laced with crushed rock and rose bush. The palate is medium-bodied with impressive concentration. This cuvée will need time for the oak to be subsumed, but the finish has a wonderful length. Excellent-Neal Martin, Vinous Media

The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Charmes was in quite a structured phase when I encountered it, unwinding in the glass with aromas of smoky berries, exotic spices and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with a velvety attack that segues into a vibrant mid-palate framed by sweet, powdery tannins, it's pure and penetrating.—William Kelley, The Wine Advocate

Dark purple, rich ripe and supple, with some reduction. Quite firm, a little oak showing, this wants to be opulent and joyous, with quite dark fruit, but slightly held back for the moment by the reduction. Medium concentration at the finish.
