Fine pink purple. A slight reduction here. Totally clean on the palate, fruit which absolutely dances, very pretty, little starry pinpricks of red fruit, and a fine long balanced finish. The fruit of a sharecropping agreement with Domaine Mugneret-Gibourg in lieu-dit Quartiers de Nuits, Mugneret's 2022 Echézeaux Grand Cru wafts from the glass with aromas of plums and raspberries mingled with incense, smoke, exotic spices and orange zest. The 2022 Echézeaux Grand Cru has a crystalline bouquet with energetic red cherries, raspberry and crushed stone scents, becoming more floral with aeration - rose petals and iris flowers. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins. It is quite structured and maybe a little austere, yet it will flesh out during the remainder of its élevage, and there is a lovely pepperiness on the finish. Excellent.-Neal Martin, Vinous Media
