Vin de France Pourpre, a blend of Gamay and Pinot Noir
This was formerly the domaine’s Passetoutgrains but Pascal Mugneret has decided to reconfigure the wine and indeed change the label. Dropped yield, added 40% whole bunch, more new oak now. It is half and half gamay and pinot noir. Just racked from barrels, to bottle on 9th December. Rich dense purple, juicy fruit, quite concentrated. Tense and with good acidity.
