The 2022 Vosne-Romanée Aux Brûlées 1er Cru has the most tertiary bouquet amongst Pascale Mugneret's 2022s, quite reticent at first, unfolding slowly in the glass, offering darker fruit than the Les Suchots - introspective. The medium-bodied palate has sappy red berry fruit, elegant and harmonious with a caressing, unimposing finish. It's understated and a little austere, but again, I feel the second winter in barrel will add more flesh.-Neal Martin, Vinous Media
