The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes 1er Cru has a more backward nose than its peers. It offers darker fruit, and hints of struck flint and graphite tincture the aromatics. Maybe just a bit more whole bunches here? The palate is well-balanced with fine tannins and very well-judged natural acidity.
