The most subtle lemony cloud hovers above a certain chalkiness on the nose. Utter subtlety also characterises the super-svelte palate that is as light as a feather, yet conveys great depth and creamy softness. The freshness seems buffered by chalk, the mousse serves to remind you that this is actually Champagne, so breezy, so light, so elegant is this. A wonderful combination of depth and weightlessness. The NV Brut Grand Blanc de Blancs is a dry, piercing wine endowed with tons of energy and sheer class. Lemon, mint, slate, ash and apricots flow effortlessly from this pointed, beautifully articulated Champagne. This is a dazzling showing from Gosset. - Antonio Galloni, The Wine Advocate
This finely meshed Champagne features vibrant acidity and a satiny texture, with hints of apricot tart, marzipan and pastry cream enlivened by bright lemon curd, chopped nut and tangy fleur de sel accents. Drink now through 2022. 4,200 cases made. - Alison Napjus, The Wine Spectator
(made with a dosage of 7 g/l; L346 1116): Light yellow-gold. Smoky, lees-accented pear and honeydew on the pungent nose, with hints of iodine and anise adding complexity. Juicy orchard and citrus fruit flavors tighten up in the mid-palate, showing very good clarity and thrust. The smoky quality repeats on the smooth, mineral-tinged finish, which clings with excellent focus and tenacity. - Josh Reynolds, Vinous Media
This is really quite elegant with its expressive yet cool nose of pear, green apple, Meyer lemon, white flower and plenty of yeast character. The sense of refinement continues onto the intense and attractively saline-inflected flavors that are supported by a firm but not aggressive mousse, all wrapped in a delicious and inviting finish as each sip invites the next. While this could be easily enjoyed now I would be inclined to allow it a few more years of cellar time first. In a word, lovely and in particular I very much like the texture. - Allen Meadows, Burghound
