Tiny production here, because of frost in May, but the wine came out nice and clean, with pretty balance and mouth-feel and plenty of dark fruit and spices. Slightly dry on the finish now, but should come around nicely with the elevage. - James suckling
The 2021 Haut-Brisson is the product of low yields, as this site was impacted by the April frosts. Delivering aromas of sweet berry, plums, licorice and orange rind, it's medium to full-bodied, broad and textural, with a fleshy core of fruit and powdery tannins that assert themselves on the finish. - William Kelley, Wine Advocate
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2021 Haut-Brisson leaps with vivacious notions of baked black cherries, wild blueberries, and fruitcake, plus suggestions of Chinese five spice, dried roses, and fragrant earth. Medium-bodied, the palate offers a great intensity of black fruit layers with rounded tannins and just enough freshness, finishing with a spicy kick. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Independent.
