Poruzots occupies a prime mid-slope location, sandwiched between Genevrières and Les Gouttes d’Or, with an exposition east and a bit north, which can only have helped in 2019. The result shows extremely lively citrus aromas, with almost tropical, exotic, up front tones and a bit of spice from the 50% new oak used for the maturation. The wine has breadth and substance, but there is plenty of fresh acidity that carries it to a long, persistent finish. - Charles Curtis MW, Decanter
The 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Les Poruzots is fleshy and generous, wafting from the glass with aromas of honeyed orchard fruit, orange oil, buttered toast and praline. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with lively acids and an enveloping core of fruit, it's a gourmand but nicely balanced white Burgundy. William Kelley - The Wine Advocate
This is one of the few remaining negociant cuvées, outside some of the grands crus. Full yellow with the lightest of green inflections, a very concentrated nose, but not too ripe. Succulent, deep, quite oaky, a bit of candied lemon peel, some spices too. Leaves an attractive tingle at the finish. Tasted: October 2020 Jasper Morris - Inside Burgundy
