The Puligny Tremblots escaped the frost. This cuvée is made mostly from vines planted in 1930 and 1970. Fullish yellow, showing impressive density, the bouquet is intriguing, offering detail as well as depth. There is notable extra density on the palate, electric fruit, and beautiful persistence. Like the Concis des Champs, this wine shows what would have been possible throughout Burgundy in 2021, if there had not been the frost. Drink from 2026-2031. Tasted: November 2023.--Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
Tasting note: Beautifully layered aromas of citrus confit, smoke and a variety of white fleshed fruit are complemented by utterly delicious, caressing and solidly concentrated medium weight flavors that display fine complexity on the long, balanced and stylish finale. Excellent quality here. Outstanding.--Allen Meadows, Burghound
