Tasting note: A slightly cooler nose reflects notes of green apple and more citrus influence along with a touch of mineral reduction. The overtly stony middleweight flavors aren't as dense but they are more precise and particularly so on the moderately austere and beautifully long finale that is firm enough to suggest that 8 to 10 years of keeping will be necessary to see this at its peak. Lovely and well-worth considering. Outstanding.--Allen Meadows, Burghound
Pale in colour, the pure white fruit coming across as very chiselled, stones everywhere on nose and palate. Then the Santenay Gravières fills out a little more to add a juicy element to what is already a beautiful wine, long and lovely. Drink from 2026-2033. Tasted: November 2023.--Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
The 2021 Santenay 1er Cru Clos des Gravières unwinds in the glass with aromas of pear, freshly baked bread and sweet citrus fruits. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with racy acids and a chalky finish, it's pure and beautifully balanced, showing none of the signatures of a frost vintage.--William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
