A Champagne of incredible polish and sophistication, the NV (2006) Extra Brut Ambonnay Le Bout du Clos is creamy, layered and totally voluptuous. This is pure sensuality in a glass. In this release, the Bout du Clos is a blend of vintages 2006, 2005 and 2004. Disgorged March 13, 2013. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
Disgorged in February 2020, the latest release of Selosse's NV Extra Brut Grand Cru Le Bout du Clos offers up complex aromas of golden orchard fruit, almond paste, yellow plums, beeswax and spices. Full-bodied, deep and concentrated, it's tightly wound after its recent disgorgment, with racy acids, elegantly muscular structuring extract and a youthfully frothy mousse. Long and penetrating, I can't wait to encounter it again with a little bottle age. - William Kelley, Wine Advocate
