A Champagne of incredible polish and sophistication, the NV (2006) Extra Brut Ambonnay Le Bout du Clos is creamy, layered and totally voluptuous. This is pure sensuality in a glass. In this release, the Bout du Clos is a blend of vintages 2006, 2005 and 2004. Disgorged March 13, 2013. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
Selosse's latest rendition of the NV Extra Brut Grand Cru Le Bout du Clos is based on the 2011 vintage and was disgorged in March 2018. Wafting from the glass with notes of toasted bread, anise, licorice, plummy fruit and a subtle top note of old Cognac, the wine is full-bodied, broad and textural, with a textural, enveloping attack that rapidly segues into ample, muscular mid-palate that's striking saline and chalky, before concluding with a long, complex and subtly exotic finish. - William Kelley, Wine Advocate
