The 2020 Chablis Sainte Claire has an open, expressive bouquet of apple peelings, freshly squeezed lemon and a touch of gunflint. The palate is taut and fresh with a fine bead of acidity and good salinity, especially on the tensile finish. Maybe it lacks a bit of persistence, but it should age nicely in bottle.—Neal Martin, Vinous Media
