This has a gutsy core of steeped plum and warmed fig paste flavors, offset by singed bay leaf and worn leather hints. Light mineral and sanguine notes line the finish, with the dark fruit hanging on pleasantly. - Wine Spectator
Opaque ruby. Smoky blueberry, olive paste and violet aromas are lifted and sharpened by a spicy nuance. Pliant, ripe and broad on entry, then more taut in the mid-palate, offering sappy black and blue fruit flavors that put on weight with aeration. Shows excellent clarity and a seductive floral note on the finish, which features supple tannins and a hint of candied flowers. -Antonio Galloni
Light and juicy. Much lighter and easier than the Domaine St-Joseph. Easy peasy drinking. – Jancis Robinson
"The vineyards used for Offerus are located in two distinct St. Joseph areas. The communities of Mauves, Tournon, and St. Jean de Muzols yield over 80% of the blend. These southern vineyard sites express tightly wound tannins, spice, and power. They add structure and depth to complete the harmony of Offerus. The remaining vineyards are located in more northerly communities around Serrieres. This soil produces wines which are more elegant with incredible purity, definition, and focus." -Winery
