Tasting note: Slightly riper aromas of poached plum, black raspberry liqueur, anise, newly turned earth and smoky hints are trimmed in discreet oak nuances. As is usually the case, there is noticeably more size, weight and volume to the palate saturating, rich and powerful large-scaled flavors that flash evident muscle on the markedly more structured, dusty, youthfully austere and impressively persistent finale.
