The 2021 La Tour de Mons was picked from 28 September to 12 October, the first complete vintage undertaken by Marjolaine de Coninck and her team. Matured in 25% new oak, it has a fragrant bouquet, quite graceful and pure with seductive red brambly fruit laced with nuanced undergrowth aromas. The palate is elegant and poised with fine acidity, filigree tannins with a pure and caressing finish. This Margaux comes recommended. - Neal Martin, Vinous Media

The 2021 Château La Tour de Mons, which comes from the owners of Château Labégorce and Marquis D'Alesme and a site located north of Margaux, is based on a Merlot-dominated blend that includes 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot. It's a beautiful effort, offering both red and black fruits, notes of flowers and sandalwood, medium-bodied richness, a supple, elegant texture, and outstanding length on the finish.
