Tasting note: A vague whiff of the exotic is present on the blend of both white and yellow peach, floral and spicy aromas where a hint of phenolic character lurks in the background. Here too the texture of the medium-bodied flavors is super-sleek, refined and intense while the sappy and youthfully austere finish exhibits excellent length. This isn't quite as mineral-driven as the Perrières or as delicate as the Bouchères but it's quite classy all the same. Sweet spot. Outstanding.--Allen Meadows, Burghound
Picked early with the Bouchères. If you wait you gain sugar and lose acid very quickly in this vineyard. . Little stones keep the heat. Full lemon yellow. The bouquet is softer and riper, possibly more lactic. This is pretty punchy in the middle of the palate, but has retained its vivacity. However, you can see that to pick any later would have been a mistake. Tasted: 10/1/2021.-Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
