Gold Medal Drinks Business Champagne Masters 2023
Vinepair Best Champagnes of 2021
It’s pleasing to find that, following a blind tasting, what is probably the most famous Champagne rosé is also one of the best. It combines delicate flavours of white-fleshed cherry, raspberry and redcurrant with appealing notes of ground nuts, coffee beans and a touch of toast, followed by a dry, chalky-textured finish. In short, this is a pretty-looking, refreshing and complex fizz with a lovely balance. - Patrick Schmitt MW, Drinks Business
This great rosé combines texture with bright fruit and a bit of age. It is poised between a ripe dosage and a crisp texture, with red fruits and toastiness marking the flavors. It is a fine bottling to enjoy now. - RV, Wine Enthusiast
Fragrant wafts of smoke and spice accent the steeped raspberry and mandarin orange peel flavors of this tightly meshed rosé Champagne, which is backed by a vivid spine of mouthwatering acidity and is silky on the palate, with hints of dried herb, licorice and toasted almond playing on the finish. Drink now through 2025. - Alison Napjus, Wine Spectator
Established in the 19th century, Champagne Laurent-Perrier remains one of the most renowned Champagne houses on the market and is well-known for its distinct rosé. In 1968, Laurent-Perrier mastered the art of maceration to create their iconic deeply-hued rosé Champagne. Made with 100 percent Pinot Noir, this Champagne smells like strawberry jam on a doughy croissant. It has good, balanced bubbles with a mouthwatering palate. It's a great bottle to gift — but make sure you get a sip. - Vinepair
(100% saignée Pinot Noir): Vivid orange-pink. An expressive, spice-accented bouquet evokes fresh raspberry, orange pith, white flowers and ginger, with a hint of rhubarb adding an earthy flourish. Sappy and broad in the mouth, offering intense red fruit and bitter citrus flavors underscored by chalky mineral and white pepper notes. Rich yet lively rosé with excellent closing thrust and floral persistence. - Josh Raynolds, Vinous Media
100% Pinot Noir. Some sulphur on the nose but the fruit is pure and plump on the palate. Little discernible autolysis but lovely floral character. - RH, JancisRobinson .com
