This is the only white wine from Jonathan Maltus (of Le Dome fame), and it comes from a vineyard just on the other side of the river, composed of clay over limestone with 10-year-old vines. The 2019 Le Nardian opens with notes of orange blossoms, warm peaches and fresh Bosc pears with touches of dill seed, fennel and lemongrass. The medium to full-bodied palate reveals a gorgeous, satiny texture with soft, seamless acidity and loads of citrus zest and spicy sparks coming through on the long finish. Love it! - Lisa Perrotti Brown, Wine Advocate
Lots of sliced lemons with white-peach and green-apple undertones. It’s medium-to full-bodied, tight and fresh. - James Suckling
Light gold-hued, the 2019 Le Nardian has a gorgeous bouquet of ripe tropical fruits, caramelized pineapple, honeysuckle, and spice. With a kiss of background oak, medium to full body, and just beautiful purity of fruit, this is a great vintage for this white. - Jeb Dunnick
