A very fine and transparent wine with sliced lemons, melon, stone and hints of grass. Bitter lemon, too. Medium to full body. Hints of phenolics and fine texture. Drink or hold. - James Suckling
Slightly deeper and richer, (no doubt due to the 20% Semillon in the blend), the 2020 Le Petit Smith Haut Lafitte Blanc is medium to full-bodied and more concentrated, with a terrific perfume of honeyed lemons, white flowers, and kiss of minerality. Tropical overtones and a kiss of new French oak are very nicely judged.
