Made with Nebbiolo, Vespolina and Croatina, this has aromas of eucalyptus, ripe berries, rose and a whiff of cellar floor that eventually blows off. Focused and linear, the rather austere palate offers red cherry, white pepper and ground clove alongside tight, fine-grained tannins and bright acidity. Just mid ruby. Amazing, perfumed red-fruit nose with touches of spice and oatmeal. Elegant, suave red fruit cut through by vibrant acidity and packed with firm, finely chiselled tannins.
