Vrigny, a Premier Cru village located in Montagne de Reims just 10 km away from Reims, City of Coronations. Organically farmed, the estate maintains 8.7 hectares on calcareous, clay loam and sandy soils. The vineyard is planted with 4.4 hectares of Meunier, 1.5 hectares of Chardonnay and 2.8 hectares of Pinot Noir. A family of winegrower in Champagne since 1799 ; producers of organic champagne.
The Lelarge family owned their first parcels in 1799, after Pierre-Henri Lelarge, married Madeleine Dravigny, the daughter of a winegrower family in Vrigny. Throughout many generations, the descendants of Pierre-Henri shared their commitment to the terroir of Champagne and the work of vigneron.
