Tasting note: This possesses an interesting nose that is at once perfumed yet distinctly sauvage in character with plenty of spice nuances present on the mostly red berry, black pinot and soft earth scents. There is excellent detail and richness to the caressing yet quite powerful medium-bodied flavors that coat the palate with dry extract on the lightly stony, youthfully austere and highly persistent finish where the only nit is a touch of warmth.

Notes of red berries, cherries, orange zest and rose petals introduce the 2022 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Aux Murgers, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and perfumed wine that's supple and refined, concluding with a saline finish.—William Kelley, The Wine Advocate

The 2022 Nuits Saint-Georges Aux Murgers 1er Cru, containing 80% whole bunches, has a refined bouquet with raspberry and wild strawberry fruit laced with clove and light tea leaf aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with gentle grip. It is quite strict and linear, with fine depth, perhaps requiring a little more complexity on the powdery, curry leaf-tinged finish, which does convey elegance and purity.
