Hail followed the frost here, so a very small production of one and a half barrels instead of six or seven. A fine red purple. The bouquet is more expressive, slightly riper fruit according to the nose. Excellent intensity on the palate with a stricter finish, some white pepper, strawberry and redcurrant fruit, fair length. Tasting note: An ultra-fresh nose freely reveals its airy and distinctly cool aromas of red currant and forest floor.
