I certainly misjudged the 2017 Chablis Grand Cru Grenouilles from tank last year, as from bottle this would appear to be one of the high points of the Louis Michel portfolio. Mingling notes of fresh peach, yellow apples and dried white flowers with aromas of honeycomb and fresh pastry, it's full-bodied, layered and textural, with a satiny attack that segues into a deep, concentrated mid-palate, underpinned by racy acids and concluding with a bright finish. WK – The Wine Advocate
Domaine bottlings of this grand cru are comparatively rare, such is the dominance of the La Chablisienne co-operative. This unoaked example is delicious, showing real zip and zest with crunchy pear and citrus flavours. - Tim Atkin, Vinous Media
A parcel at the top of the cru that touches Vaudesir, this has a very chalky and stony nose with light yellow peaches, melon and lemons. Very pure and fresh. The palate has such attractive purity and directly fresh, juicy and elegant style. Fresh melon and nectarines sit open and approachable. Drink or hold. - James Suckling
An appealingly floral-inflected if restrained nose combines notes of mineral reduction, pear, apple and a touch of petrol. There is good power and punch to the bigger and richer but less refined flavors that possess a caressing mouth feel before culminating in a lingering finish that also needs at least some forbearance in order to develop better depth. Even so, this appears to be very promising. - Allen Meadows, Burghound
