Unwinding in the glass with a deep bouquet of cherries, wild berries, incense, rose petals and spices, the 2016 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Aux Combottes is medium to full-bodied, velvety and enveloping, with excellent concentration, powdery tannins and racy acids, concluding with a long and pungently sapid finish.
