This is a juicy, rich red with plenty of wet-earth, blackcurrant and black-chocolate character. It’s full and chewy at the end. Shows solid potential. Same quality as the 2018.- James Suckling
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 Marojallia is redolent of wonderfully pure, intense scents of crushed blackberries, blackcurrant cordial and warm plums with hints of espresso, black olives, garrigue and fragrant earth. Medium to full-bodied, the palate packs a punch ( a good one!), featuring mouth-coating black fruit and earthy layers with a solid backbone of grainy tannins, finishing long and mineral laced.- Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Wine Advocate
Silky and supple in texture, not high on appellation typicity perhaps, but packed with caramel and toasted oak notes that are highly seductive. If you give it time in the glass, the menthol freshness and bright acidities come through, and the damson fruit is beautifully expressed. 100% new oak from six coopers. Harvest October 3 to 11.- Jane Anson, Decanter
The 2019 Marojallia is a rich, heady wine. Black cherry, plum, bittersweet chocolate, new leather, licorice and dark spice all build as this succulent Margaux shows off its considerable allure. Plush and generous in style, with terrific persistence, the 2019 has much to offer. At this stage, the new French oak (33%) is not fully integrated. Tasted two times.- Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
This terrific Margaux estate continues to produce terrific wines in just about every vintage. The 2019 Château Marojallia offers a saturated purple color as well as concentrated, powerful notes of black currants, scorched earth, cedarwood, and graphite. It's a big, rich, nicely structured effort with ripe yet certainly present tannins, great mid-palate depth, and plenty of length.- Jeb Dunnuck
