The 2015 Merlot is soft, open and inviting. Quite unusually for a young Mayacamas wine, the Merlot will drink well with minimal cellaring, although it has enough freshness to allow the wine to drink well for a number of years. Crushed flowers, red cherry fruit, tobacco and spice are nicely laced together in this very pretty and nuanced wine-Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
