Picked between 1 and 19 September, the 2022 Mazeyres offers up aromas of minty dark berries, licorice and tobacco leaf, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy palate that's supple, gourmand and enveloping. The 2022 Château Mazeyres is a full-bodied, rich, nicely concentrated Pomerol that stays balanced. Ripe black and blue fruits, chocolate, and leafy tobacco are just some of the nuances, and it has quality tannins, and again, a pure, balanced style. It should be outstanding. - Jeb Dunnuck

The 2022 Mazeyres has a sorbet-like freshness and vibrancy on the nose: red plum and cassis scents, becoming more floral in the glass.
