Tasting note: A beautifully perfumed if again, restrained and airy nose reflects aromas of various red berries and a panoply of spice and floral elements. The seductive, round and nicely rich medium-bodied flavors possess a subtle minerality that become more apparent on the clean and strikingly refreshing finish that just invites another sip. Mid purple, quite a plump and even plummy nose. Starts well on the palate, then falls away a little at the back with a very slightly vegetal tannin. Still in barrel and the racking may wake this up. Drink from 2026-2032. Tasted: November 2022.—Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
