Tasting note: A mentholated top note is present on the red and dark currant aromas that display additional touches of spice and earth. Mid purple in colour with an enjoyable grapey nose, very peppery and not quite so much fruit behind. More acidity here. A good wine, though at the less ripe end of the spectrum. Might be worth taking a look at the Fixin. Drink from 2024-2027. Tasted: November 2022.—Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
