A strong even purple colour. The bouquet is up front delicious yet with evidently something more to come behind. Plenty of energy here, slightly dry at the moment, a deep red fruit even so, and the racking will bring it all forward. Drink from 2027-2033. Tasted: November 2022.—Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy

Tasting note: The profile of the fresh and cool aromas immediately signals that this could be from nowhere else but Vosne with its hints of star anise, sandalwood, soy and red cherry scents. The texture of the medium weight flavors is gorgeous, mostly thanks to the admirably fine-grained tannins that also shape the balanced, complex and sneaky long finish. This is lovely and a wine that should be approachable after only 5-ish years. Outstanding. --Allen Meadows. Burghound

Cask sample. Sweet start and with notable acidity and structure but it suffered from following Grivot's Beaux Monts, I'm afraid. It does build towards a complex finish.—Jancis Robinson
