Piercing redcurrant and preserved-raspberry flavors are accented by bold strikes of earth and stone in this intensely mineral, tightly structured wine. Full bodied and concentrated in red fruits yet nervous in youth, the wine will need time to yield its perfume and nuances. Hold till 2025 at least. It should improve through 2040. --ANNA LEE C.
