The 2020 Mont-Pérat has retained those upfront, quite bold and plush aromatics: black cherries, cassis and just a touch of warm alcohol. Yet it manages to also retain freshness and vibrancy. The palate is medium-bodied with a muscular entry, powerful and a bit brutish towards the finish. Give it two or three years in bottle to shave its edges. - Neal Martin, Vinous Media
