The deep garnet-purple colored 2020 le Crock comes skipping out of the glass with carefree scents of fresh blackberries, black raspberries and redcurrant jelly, with touches of dried Provence herbs and Sichuan pepper. The medium-bodied palate has appealing energy and freshness with a fine-grained frame supporting the taut black fruit, finishing with an herbal lift. - James Suckling
Mocha, bitter morello cherries and cinnamon combine to give this a gourmet, classically Pomerol feel on the opening, if slightly forced right now because there are bit tannins. Michel Querre, just 2.4ha. A yield of 42hl/ha. 100% new oak. - Jane Anson, Decanter
The deep garnet-purple colored 2020 Moulin Riche gives up notions of freshly crushed red and black currants, mulberries and kirsch, plus hints of bouquet garni and damp soil. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers plenty of juicy black and red berry flavors, supported by a soft texture and plenty of freshness, finishing savory. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Wine Advocate
