Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2014 cabernet sauvignon mt. Veeder has notes of freshly crushed red and black currants and mulberries over hints of pencil shavings, red roses and menthol plus a touch of chinese five spice. Medium to full-bodied with a very firm frame of grainy tannins and plenty of freshness, it fills the palate with red and black fruits, with loads of earthy layers coming through on the long finish. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Wine Advocate
