This hangs together, with peach, apple and lemon fruit shaded by vanilla and pastry accents. A good structure binds this all together, ending with crisp salinity. Best from 2018 through 2025. 90 cases imported. - Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator
Bright, pale yellow. Pure but tight nose hints at white peach, pear, menthol and resiny oak. Densely packed and light on its feet but much more closed than the Vergers in the early going. In a distinctly linear stage today owing to strong acidity and almost metallic minerality, with hints of menthol and flowers adding nuance. Best now on the long, sharply delineated finish, which shows lovely lemony energy and lift. - Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Media
Notes of petrol and wood spice add breadth to the ripe white orchard fruit and discreet lemon rind scents. There is good richness to the agreeably textured and lush medium weight flavors that also possess a caressing mouth feel while delivering solid depth on the sneaky long finish that really fans out as it sits on the palate. Note that this succulent effort could easily be enjoyed young. - Allen Meadows, Burghound.com
Edgy nose with a hint of matchstick. Lots of astringency at the moment and perhaps slightly less extract than the Maltroie. May well open out to something even more splendid. Jancis Robinson
