A powerful, viscous white, with floral, lemon oil and mineral notes. Delivers good acidity and a chalky sensation, leaving a juicy impression on the finish. Best from 2018 through 2028. Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator
This is also quite strongly reduced so some time in a decanter would be beneficial. There is outstanding richness to the seductively textured and opulent flavors that coat the palate with dry extract while the citrus-tinged acidity is sufficiently firm to maintain the balance on the saline-inflected finish. This too will be approachable young if desired. Allen Meadows, Burghound.com
Bright, light yellow. Soft scents of ripe pear and honey. Round and pure in the mouth, with nicely integrated acidity energizing the flavors of pear, lemon oil and white flowers. Finishes with a mineral firmness that was not apparent when I sampled this wine from barrel a year ago. Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Media
