This white starts out with plenty of flesh, featuring apricot and lime flavors, with a hint of the sea, before firming up and revealing a racy side as this winds down on the long finish. Shows plenty in reserve and a lot of energy. Drink now through 2027. 80 cases imported. — BS Wine Spectator
The 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Vergers is lovely, wafting from the glass with notes of apple, white flowers, pear and subtle hazelnut cream. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, satiny and elegant, with a giving, open-knit profile but tangy underlying acids and a stony finish. It exemplifies the charm and lovely balance of which this white Burgundy vintage is capable. William Kelley – The Wine Advocate
Once again the nose is noticeably pungent with its aromas of petrol, rosemary oil, resin and soft floral nuances. The vibrant, fresh and well-detailed medium-bodied flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the beautifully textured, complex and driving finish. This is first-rate and the best of these 1ers in 2017. - Allen Meadows, Burghound
