Aromas of ripe, dark fruits like blackberry and black cherry dominate, with both floral (violets) and earthy elements, baking spice, and traces of earth and char-like wood smoke. Bright on entry, with ample presence and drive. Flavors of blackberry and plum dominate with a hint of sage and brown butter, and a sanguine quality of roasted meat on a broad framework. Fruit, freshness and mineral persist nicely with good grip and texture from the fine tannins. - Winery
