Medium-bodied with a fresh, well-framed and flavorful palate. Green apple, pineapple and a hint of nutmeg. Creamy and fresh. - James Suckling
Really punching out it of the park this year, an excellent white. Slate, lemongrass, white pear, apple compote, saffron and elderflower, savoury and with grip. Touch of reduction on the opening beat. - Jane Anson, Inside Bordeaux
Fragrant white flowers on the nose with sweet lemon scents; this smells lovely. Succulent and just shy of unctuous, it has a nice density and weight on the palate, giving a full mouthfeel and good dose of bitter lemon, sweet pineapple, crisp apple and creamy peach. Round and driving, this has energy and zing and excellent balance from start to finish. Lovely and will be very enjoyable in bottle! - Georgina Hindle, Decanter
The 2021 Olivier Blanc has a crisp, stony bouquet with freshly-sliced pear, Granny Smiths and orange blossom. The palate is well-balanced with crisp acidity, citrus fresh with admirable cohesion. Perhaps it needs a little more mineralité on the finish, nevertheless this is a very well-made dry white that will not only drink well for at least a decade, but might represent one of the appellation's best values. - Neal Martin, Vinous Media
The 2021 Olivier Blanc exhibits aromas of green apples, Sauvignon botanicals, white flowers and struck match, followed by a medium-bodied, taut and saline palate. Chiseled and incisive, it shows promise. - William Kelley, Wine Advocate
The 2021 Château Olivier is another solid Pessac withs lots of classic appellation notes of red and blue fruits, tobacco, scorched earth, and violets, yet it reveals a beautiful sense of flowers and floral nuances with time in the glass. Medium-bodied on the palate, it has good mid-palate depth, moderate tannins, and lots of charm. It should drink well right out of the gate. - Jeb Dunnuck
The 2021 Olivier blanc is a little closed to begin, offering glimpses at grapefruit, lemon drops, and lime leaves scents, plus hints of chalk dust and coriander seed. Light to medium-bodied, the palate is delicately styled with a racy backbone and steely finish. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Independent
